TAYU Plastic Machinery: Twenty years to become a globally renowned brand in vertical injection molding machines.
Starting from 2014, TAYU entered the second ten-year planning phase, meticulously introducing advanced German vertical injection molding machine technologies. Focusing on technical absorption and transformation, it not only continued applying German technologies but also accumulated and transformed them into "Chinese innovation," leading the industry and strategically restructuring and adjusting global markets. During this period, TAYU gradually developed into one of the world's leading vertical injection molding machine manufacturers, becoming a key global manufacturing and export base for vertical injection molding machines, with a replacement rate exceeding 95% in the global high-end precision injection molding equipment sector.
In 2014, to meet customers' universal desire for "maximum output with minimum input," TAYU kicked off its technological introduction by acquiring the vertical injection molding machine technology of German company Demag. Later, it introduced Japanese management systems to create a series of advanced vertical injection molding machines that reduce costs and increase efficiency for customers.
Martin Yang did not pursue introduction for the sake of introduction alone; he aimed to reshape TAYU from within by digesting and absorbing advanced technologies, forging the company's core competitiveness. The company's focus on developing various generations of low-worktable vertical injection molding machines has enhanced efficiency, providing customers with new-era productivity and leading global plastic machinery development trends. Through collaborations with German company Bosch Rexroth, TAYU introduced advanced German precision closed-loop control technologies, successfully achieving domestic substitution of production equipment for precision injection molding products such as mobile phone components, automotive sensors, automotive electrical connectors, precision filters, and fuel injection components.
In Martin Yang's view, with the comprehensive upgrading of traditional manufacturing to high-tech manufacturing, enterprises' demand for technical and management talent has surged. As early as 2016, TAYU invited senior experts from Japan's Sumitomo—Yasuhiko Kiyokawa and Hiroshi Morita—as consultants, who introduced core Japanese management tools and applications such as 5W1H and CPRS.
Second, TAYU implemented a talent-driven strategy early on. Martin Yang often emphasizes that enterprises need to focus on three core areas: first, quality; second, cost control to ensure competitive product pricing; and third, delivery capabilities—all three relying on talent.
Today, TAYU has become the trusted choice of over 6,000 global enterprises, providing them with top-tier vertical injection molding machines and comprehensive technical support. As a leading brand in China's vertical injection molding machine industry, it has three production bases in Hangzhou (Zhejiang), Dongguan (Guangdong), and Anji (Huzhou), with an annual production capacity of 4,000 units. With its superior R&D capabilities and technical strength, TAYU has successively developed a series of high-performance, high-efficiency, and energy-saving injection molding machines that drive industry development.
